Finally, Fall is pouring into the shop!
It's been a weird fall to say the least, with the rise of the Delta varient companies again are experiencing delays in manufacturing and production. So much has been pushed back, or will not be made/sent at all, which is honestly the least important thing happening right now. So, like everyone right now, there have been delays in getting product.
But the fan favorite, Paloma Wool, just landed the first shipment for Fall and we are sooo excited for it to be here. So, we wanted to do a little review of the fit and style for you.
Let's start with the Anita sweater (the one with the face on it). This is the same design as the body print one Paloma did last year. Still the softest, most comfy sweater, and I am unbelievably obsessed with the deep green color, and the grey is the perfect neutral to have in your closet. This sweater is made from 36% wool, 35% acryllic, 15% alpaca, 13% polyamide, 1% elastine. The mix of natural fibers with a little bit acrylic makes sure that this isn't too itchy and still has a really nice hand feel. I had the small on, but we have up to an xl in this piece!
Onto the Marie blouse, the one I'm wearing all the way to the left above. The print is also the background of the image, funny enough when we ordered this we had no idea there was a print on it (online shopping at it's best). But, I love it even more with this subtle print. Also, the fit of this is to die for. The ties are the perfect design element that levels up a typical button up, plus it is super flattering. I was wearing the small.
Up next is the Souvenir Universe tee with the Galileo pant and the Cosima shoe. First of all, we love the Souvenir tee...every year it's so good. This one has the print that reads on it "You are alive and everything lives inside you", with a bunch of natural universal images on the back of a hand in some sand, rocks, wing close-up, the galaxy, waves from a distance, and lastly and ultrasound of a baby. Very kitschy universally beautiful things. I had the medium on for a slightly oversized look. Onto the Galileo pant...sooo good. They are comfy, sexy and so cool. The print is very subtle, but makes them that much more unique. I will say, size up one just because they do get a bit sheer when they stretch too much. You could definitely see my giraffe printed meundies under them in the bright light...another reason to grab the nude commando thong. So I had the size small on; would probably buy the medium. And the Cosima shoe? I love. They are a bit tight in the calf, much like the boots we got last year and thankfully they stretch out. The leather is very soft and will mold to you. They look great with the Galileo pant, and my Frances Finds vintage white straight leg jeans!
Then it is the Darwin shirt. Again I die. So good. I honestly wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. To be candid, I am having a bit of a bloated day and wasn't feeling myself 100%...until I put this on and felt so hot in it! Very flattering and soft, I highly recommend. And it's such an easy fit, I was wearing the small and it was perfect.
Overall, we love this batch of Paloma products and are so excited to style these for our fashion show coming up!
